If there's a helicopter in the air, then it's possible to have ZERO cop cars after you. Then you won't have more than one at a time going after you (another one will spawn somewhere if you kill the last one). What you want to do is take out police cars until there's just one car left. The number on the left says how many you've collided with, the one on the right says how many you've disabled, and the one in the middle says how many are chasing you. There is an indicator along the bottom (where your cooldown meter is). I usually just drive around the northern highway loop until I get all my milestones, and then I try to lose them.īefore you even try to lose the cops, it's usually a good idea to take out everyone first. The highways are good because they have a hard time pinning you, but there also aren't many pursuit breakers available. In order to end a pursuit quickly when you want to, you have to really keep track of a lot of things so you can control the action. Then again, this is EA, so we can't really expect anything at all from them. I mean, having five or ten fully maximized cars doesn't really help you win races, it just makes the game more fun and interesting. Obviously there are also concerns with artificial difficulty and rubber banding, but I don't think it should be difficult to have a good-sized stable of maxed-out cars. Races should be worth a bit more and the rival's car should be a guarantee. I think it highlights a major flaw in the game (that many people have already pointed out): you don't make quite enough money and you don't always win your rivals' cars. At this point in my other game, I had two or three maxed out cars. I finally unlocked and purchased every single performance part for it, but I'm surprised I don't have more money than I do. I spend almost all of what I make from racing on upgrading the parts on my Lexus. Since I'm not winning a bunch of rival cars, I'm not consequently getting lots of money. This time, I haven't reloaded at all and I have taken the unique performance part every time, so I've only won two cars. In my previous game, I usually took two of the rival's random tokens and I'd often re-race the challenge in order to get another shot at the pink slip. It's interesting how things have worked out this time through. then I'll take on Blacklist #2, and then it's on to Razor. I just need to get through one of those hellish late-game pursuits to get a few more milestones.

It has every unique performance upgrade and I have completed every single race, milestone, and bounty objective with this very car. I'm currently almost ready to take on Blacklist #2 in my original IS300.
